A delightful bespoke cafe that offers comforting English breakfast food in the morning and transitions into oriental Thai in the evening. Siam Angel Cafe strikes as good a balance between comfortable and stylish as it does between English and Thai. And the fact you can bring your own wine is really the cherry on top.

Not just Cafe but a Thai restaurant too. I stopped off for a coffee and a bacon butty on my way back to the car, first impressions are excellent as the interior is finished to a high standard, complete with leather sofas. I enjoyed the coffee and sandwich and I have read other reviews that say the Thai is good too. Free Wi-Fi and as it's just off the bottom of Park street it's a good location but out of the way too. Check out the link for a full review I found. X = You've gotta be kidding me
XX = trying but not reaching the standard expected or advertised
XXX = achieving the standards expected/advertised however high that might be
XXXX = they're doing something special here, above expected standards of service
XXXXX = WOW! you gotta go here! -

We stopped here for lunch and I am no Thai food expert but I thought my Pad Thai was quite all right. The restaurant is tucked away a short distance off the rather bustling Park Street, and while this means it may not get as many clients as it would if it were on it, it also means that you can take a few steps off said streets and relax in relative peace and quiet. Bonus: you can grab a pint from the (literally) next-door Horse & Groom, which has some excellent real ales, and bring it over (or bring your food in to the H&G). Prices were affordable.
